Free Parenting Classes
The Incredible Years Parenting Class
Tuesdays 11:30 – 1:30 at Pickett’s Mill Elementary School
March 22 – May 17th
Facilitated by: Stuart Bachman and Chris Wilson, CCSD
The Incredible Years Parenting Program is an 8-week class for parents and caregivers of children ages 3—6 years old that encourages:
- Promoting parent competencies and support
- Teaching positive discipline
- Handling misbehavior
- Establishing household rules, routines and limit setting
- Strengthening children’s social skills & emotion regulation
- School readiness skills
- Using play and praise to strengthen parent-child relationships
- Coping with stress and anger management
